Exams are over!

It's been a while since I've posted a blog. In fact it's been way too long. If I'm honest I have been really busy with revision (partying) for my exams, and I've been working way too much. I'm going to use this post as a bit of a recap with whats been happening with my life since my last post.

Okay, firstly back in February/March, yes that long ago, me and four of my other flatmates went on yet another boat party down the Thames. I'm not quite sure what happened on the boat (this is what many of my stories will entail) but I know we all had an absolute great time and we got to get a little bit dressed up in our LBD's. The first photo is pre-boat, all five of us sober(ish). The second picture is the five of us on the boat. And I have no explanation for the third or fourth picture....

Example then happened.....

Then Netsky.....

Then I went home for Easter....

During Easter I also went to Liverpool to see my friend from uni, we went to the Ladies day, got drunk and had a dead nice weekend....

After this weekend, it was nice to be back at home and have time to relax in preparation for my bitches birthday, which always ends up very very messy. It was army themed, started off with 8 of us, ended with two...it is safe to say that I had (what I thought) could be the worlds worst hangover ever, and lucky me got to get the train back down to London the next day.

I was dead sad to be going back to London and leave all my friends after Easter considering I'd had a really good time back at home, I think I cried for 20 minutes when I left my mum at the station, however when I got back to London I was met at the station by my flatmates and it was the start of exam period, in fact looking back over this term it might as well just be one long p*ss up.

To break up this term, I took a trip up to Manchester to my friends uni, where I met three of my other friends and we were once again reunited and ready to show Manchester how us Yorkshire lasses do it. I think I can hands down say this was probably the messiest two days of my entire life. The second night in Manchester is a blur, one of the best nights of my life and I somehow came home with a macho libre mask which absolutely no recollection of how this came to my possession. I don't even want to discuss the jager consumption of the two days because it makes me wince at the thought, all I am going to say is "80p jagerbombs? Yeah we'll take 50". After my last night out in Hull and my train back to London I didn't think it could get any worse until coming back to London from Manchester. I was ruined, literally broken.

Then it was back to London for more partying....

I don't want to discuss the events from the last three pictures hahaha.

This post makes me seem as though I have a wild lifestyle. But among all of that I've been working five days a week, and revising for my exams which I finished on Thursday. Both actually went better than expected and I'm just waiting on results for them. As well as exams I've got grades back from three assignments that I handed in before Easter and have passed one of my courses so far with a First, and the other three I'm yet to find out, but fingers crossed.

As well as all this we've just signed papers for a house in Limehouse - East London, there's six of us moving in around mid-august and we are all SO excited! And on top of all this I've booked a holiday with one my my friends from back home to Ibiza at the beginning of September. WOAH WE'RE GOING TO IBIZA!

On that note I'm going to leave it at that and will hopefully get round to posting more on here now I have a bit of spare time. xoxoxoxo

Charity Bike Ride

Okay, as part of my degree we have had to get into groups to organise a charity event for a charity of our choice. As Tourism students my group collectively decided to choose a charity linking to our studies.

Tourism For All is a national UK charity providing information and help for elderly or disabled people so they can fully participate in leisure and tourism activities. I don't want to talk much about what the charity do on here as all information can be found on their website here.

The event we have chosen to do is a sponsored bike ride around the City of London, passing many of the sites and tourist attractions around London - linking to our studies and our chosen charity. We are going to be doing this on Friday 22nd February starting south of Tower Bridge passing sites such as; The Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, The London Eye etc.
The map above is the route we plan on taking, however this is subject to change as we're doing a test run on Wednesday for timings, and just to find the safest route from attraction and attraction. We are hoping to raise £150 from doing this event and if you wish to make a donation no matter how small, the link to our fund raising page can be found below.
Also, there is an opportunity for you to get involved with our bike ride. If you wish to participate please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Weekend!

Okay so I'm going to say that my weekend began on Wednesday night because we decided to hit up Proud in Camden. I had such a good night and it felt so good to finally go out again, especially with people we never usually go out with!
Friday night we went to The Coronet for its f**k me its refreshers event which was sick and very very eventful. It is safe to say I was pretty drunk, in fact we all were very drunk, there was foam, there was a sick DJ, there was cheap drinks, there was a separate bar dedicated to shots and jager bombs, there was hot boys, there was free t-shirts, there was glow sticks, there was even a ball pit. What more could a bunch of uni students want. Unfortunately one of my friends had her drink spiked whilst we were in there and had to be taken out by the paramedic but she's completely fine now and we all still had an amazing night despite someone robbing my purse which entailed me losing my ID, debit card, student card, a little bit of money and my oyster card. But I'm over this and the night was way too good to dwell on this sort of thing. Karma is too much of a bitch for me to worry.
My friend from back home came down from Leicester on Saturday afternoon and stayed until this morning. We had a chill day on Saturday because we'd both partied hard the following night so we ordered takeaway which consisted of; 4 portions of chips, garlic bread, 3 boxes of chicken and a 15 inch stuffed crust pizza between the 5 of us. I have never seen, or consumed as much food as then in my entire life. I honestly felt as though if I moved I was just going to start rolling, and rolling, and rolling.

Yesterday me and Loren spent the day in Camden walking round and for once I only came home with one item; a jumper, only because I was freezing during the walk around and seriously needed to to buy one just to put it on. After Camden we went to Nando's for my friend Jake's birthday before walking back to our flat via Wetherspoons for a few drinks.

Today I took Loren to the station before work, then spend the night tidying my room because it was in such a state, you couldn't even see the floor, it was disgusting and it was seriously getting on my nerves. Tomorrow I'm going to clean my bathroom, not that you need to know and I need to get back into my running regime as I've had to have a bit of a break because I've been having this horrendous pain just below my rib, on Saturday I thought my kidney's were failing it was so bad, however I think its due to running because I'm not used to it. Anyway I woke up yesterday and today and it seems to be getting better so I might take the plunge again tomorrow and I will keep you updated with that. It doesn't seem as if I've got much going on this week which in a way I'm pretty glad about so I can get on with one of my assignments and save a little bit of money. Although we have got a house viewing on Friday which I'm pretty excited about!. Eeek
